Spread joy and appreciation with this simple, yet beautiful card.

Items needed:

  • White Notecards and envelopes
  • DSP (Field and Flowers) cut to ¼ inch less than the height and width of your notecard
  • Rectangular Die from Nature's Thoughts
  • White cardstock, Coordinating Cardstock cut to 3⅛" x 4⅝"
  • Inks: Merry Merlot, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Memento Black
  • Stamps: Free as a Bird, Friends are Like Seashells

~Cut the white cardstock using the rectangular die in your embossing machine.

~Using the largest shadow stamp in "Friends are Like Seashells", stamp the background at an angle and flip it around for the center stamp.  * You will stamp off each color.  (To "stamp off", stamp your image on a scrap piece before stamping it on your paper to achieve a lighter color.)  Start with Merry Merlot , then Crushed Curry, then Old Olive.

~Using Memento Black, stamp the birds and the "thank you."

~Adhere your white piece to the coordinating cardstock. Adhere the DSP to the front of the notecard, and then adhere the matted artwork to the center.

  3. Your coloring and design are wonderful! I love that you used a set from the annual catalog - it's always nice to see the oldies but goodies and what a great way to use the DSP from SAB!
