I have 5 boys so I love it when Stampin' Up! comes out with stampsets that "suit" the males in my family.  This set not only makes great bowtie and necktie accented cards, but other stampers have used the dies to create a doctor's coat, scrubs and even military uniforms. Find them on Pinterest and make it for someone
to show your thanks.

I only have a few cards to show for this bundle (because I sold the others before I photographed them!)

The succulent images in this set are so realistic and timeless.  Add a little color with Stampin' Blends, blending brushes or watercolor to make them pop.  Then use the dies in the Potted Succulent die set to really make them come off the page.  As an added bonus, there is a full page die that truly does all the work for you. The sentiments are so thoughtful.  If you are a cardmaker, this is a must-have for your stamp library!!

The Sweet Ice Cream stamps are so versatile and works for both young and old with ice cream and popsicle images.  Who doesn't like ice cream??  And we all know that sprinkles are for winners!  The font of the sentiments is what made this a "must have" for me.  The "Happy Birthday" stamp is going to be a "keeper" even after this set retires next year. Isn't it gorgeous???

"Bundle Up Before They are Gone" Series - Art Gallery

Art Gallery Bundle

Who likes to spend extra money???  It grows on trees, right? We work for it just because we love to work so much......right??    NO!!   I'm not "cheap", I'm "frugal." I would rather have more money to spend on more stamps, inks and paper! And I know you do too- otherwise you wouldn't be reading this instead of People magazine.

Stampin' Up!® Bundles save an average of 10%!  And if you order the Art Gallery Bundle using my Bundle savings host code (WJV3GZH2) before 6/30/2021, then you will also get $5 off a future Paper Pumpkin kit when ordered through me!

Truth be told, the Art Gallery was not one of my favorite stamp sets just because I have a hard time with "abstract" design.  I am finally facing the fact that I might be a little OCD.  But the dies in this set had me sold immediately.  The "Just Want to Say" Die is to die for..... okay, that was only two-thirds of a pun.

My Meadow

The flowers outside of my house are beautiful but these are the only flowers inside the house that I can keep alive!!!  Who's with me???

This layout was inspired by Ali Palmer's post on a facebook group. Her creation was larger and had a lot more flowers... I am not that talented, don't have that much time, and my shadowbox was only 8" x 8".

So, the hardest part was to figure out the dimensions.  After a lot of math, geometry and trig (just kidding on the trig), I had my measurements and it was time to give it a go.  A word of advice: There are no mistakes in creativity, only another direction to follow.  So I invite you to give it a whirl and see what you come up with.  I would love to see it!

This design features the Quiet Meadow dies from Stampin' Up!®.

  • Cut your background piece to 8" x 8" (Soft Seafoam)
  • Cut Basic White cardstock to 2" x 4" (2 pieces), 3" x 2" (2 pieces), 1" x 2" (2 pieces) and 2" x 1¾" (one piece).
  • Use blending brushes to add Garden Green to the lower portion of the Basic White pieces and Balmy Blue to the top portion of the pieces.
  • Cut these flowers out of Basic White and then color using the Stampin' Blends. Cut the center of the flower out of Early Espresso.

  • Cut these flowers out of colored cardstock- I used Garden Green, Basic White and Night of Navy. Snip at the top of the green stem and snip the white and navy flowers. Glue them together.

  • I added these flowers and vine from the Garden Gateway Dies using Pear Pizzazz and Magenta Madness. (They were smaller so they could fit nicely on the 1" x 2" pieces.)

  • Snip the flowers apart and arrange them any way that makes your socks go up and down. No rules! I cut apart the parsley leaves (???), ran them through the embossing machine with the Tasteful Textile folder and used them to fill in as needed.
  • I stamped the butterfly from the Positive Thoughts stampset onto Basic White and used Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.
  • The green grass was not from Stampin' Up!® - I still have some stash from my scrapbooking days.... don't we all?? But the grass border could be easily recreated using Garden Green cardstock and some scissors.  Just snip your stress away! (I am only condoning the use of scissors on cardstock.)
  • The matte for each piece was simply ¼" larger using Evening Evergreen cardstock. I'm not going to make you do the math- here are the measurements: 2¼" x 4¼" (2 pieces), 3¼" x 2¼" (2 pieces), 1¼" x 2¼" (2 pieces). For the center matte, I used a gold foil sheet cut to 2¼" x 2" (one piece).
  • Place all the pieces on your background until you have them spaced the way you want, then glue them down.
  • I added the bumblebee and ladybug trinkets.
The nice think about shadow boxes is that you can add dimension so use those "dimensionals" to pop up some of your flowers, the grass and the butterfly.

I hope I didn't miss anything... just have fun and make it yours!

Did somebody say FREE??? (my favorite four letter F word)
