My Peaceful Cabin

Wow, what a month! We may be having a midlife crisis, but we decided to move from the "city" to a cabin by the woods. Yep, you heard me. Check out the pic of our log home- the resemblance to this cabin is uncanny.   As soon as I saw the Peaceful Place suite, I knew the images 
would be perfect for thank you cards and Christmas cards. 



For this card, I used the Peaceful Cabin stamps and dies and paired it with the designer series paper Peaceful Prints that I got FOR FREE (with my $50 order) from the Sale a-bration brochure.

Paper:
Cherry Cobbler (base)
Peaceful Prints
Evening Evergreen
Kraft paper
Basic White

Inks:
Soft Suede
Wink of Stella
White embossing powder

  • Cut Cherry Cobbler base to 5½" x 8½".   Score at 2⅛" on each end.

  • Cut 2 DSP panels from Peaceful Prints.  5⅜" x 2". Adhere to the front panels of your card.


  • Cut Kraft paper to 3½" x 4⅛". Sponge Soft Suede ink onto the Timber 3D folder and emboss.



  • Cut the Basic White using the fourth largest die from Layering Diorama dies.
  • Stamp the cabin using Soft Suede. Accent the snow with Wink of Stella. Adhere to the center of the embossed kraft paper using dimensionals.


  • Cut Cherry Cobbler using the Tasteful Labels, stamp the "thank you" with Versamark and heat emboss using the white embossing powder. Adhere to the kraft paper.


  • Cut the trees from the Evening Evergreen using the tree dies in the Cabin die set. Adhere to the kraft paper.
  • Adhere the kraft paper on the LEFT SIDE ONLY!  Using Stampin' Seal+ gives it some extra hold.
