Seaside Wishes ~ Twisted Easel Card

 Welcome to the beach!

I'm hanging in Cape May, NJ this week as my husband attends some work-related conferences.
Have you seen the Seaside Wishes bundle from the new Stampin' Up! catalog?? Where else can I sit and create while watching the dolphins play in the ocean??  This was the perfect time to make some "beachy" cards and I love the simple elegance that the Twisted Easel Card brings to any theme.   Let me show you how easy it is to create this fun fold!
The Seaside Wishes bundle contains the stampset,
dies AND an embossing folder.  All this for just $47.50
(take an additional 10% off if you order before 6/30/2024).

Summer Splash CS: 9½” x 4”, scored at 4”, scrap

·       Basic Beige CS: 3¾” x 3¾” (x 2), scrap

·       Country Woods DSP: (Blue piece) 3¾” x 3¾”, (Wood plank) 3¾” x 1¼”

·       Basic White CS: scrap

  • Score the Summer Splash CS at 4”, then score the 4” x 4” flap diagonally.
(shown on Basic White cardstock so you can see the score lines)

  •     Cut one piece of Basic Beige diagonally. Stamp the sand in Crumb Cake ink then adhere to either side of the diagonal scoreline.

  •     Cut the blue piece of Country Woods DSP diagonally. Tear the DSP to expose the white. Adhere to either side of the diagonal scoreline, over the stamped Basic Beige CS.

  •      On Basic Beige CS scrap, stamp the sand dollar in Crumb Cake ink and stamp the large and small starfish in Pecan Pie ink. Die cut all, then emboss the sand dollar. Die cut the other shell from the Basic White CS scrap. Die cut the seaweed from the Summer Splash CS.

  •      Adhere the shell, the seaweed and sand dollar to the lower half of the diagonal scoreline. Add the large starfish with the mini Stampin’ dimensional.

  •      Stamp the sand on the second piece of Basic Beige CS with Crumb Cake ink and add your sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. Adhere to the inside, along the left side. Adhere the strip of Country Woods DSP along the right side.

  •      Add the small starfish using the mini Stampin’ dimensional so that it will prop the diagonal flap up.
