Yes, it appears that toadstools are still in style, so let's make a quick, 5- minute card letting this adorable toadstool paper and punches do all the work! In the video, you will see that I added in the Terrific Toadstools Stampset to create the image of the small mushrooms on the inside of the card. I must have been having a menopausal moment, because the Sweet Bugs stampset also has small mushrooms that are perfect! Use whatever you have!

Another Manic Monday 5 Minute Card!!!!

Maybe you are "Team Cat"...

Personally, I am Team Dog. If I say differently, my yellow lab, Xena, may poo in my shoe!

This card is super easy, just a lot of coloring. But the Stampin' Blends make that easy too!

Lovely Arrangements

Welcome back!!

We made this card for a recent Sip and Stamp and it was very popular. It has two of my favorite elements- it's easy and elegant!! The basic design is so versatile and can be used with just about anything! The Lovely Arrangements stampset, dies and the Lovely Blossoms paper all come together seamlessly. Below is written instructions as well as a video to help get your creativity moving!

Stamp Set: Lovely Arrangements
Card Stock (CS) and Paper: Petal Pink CS; Basic White CS; Old Olive CS; Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Stamp Pads: Night of Navy
Tools: Lovely Arrangement Dies; Stampin’ Blends (Old Olive and Petal Pink)
Miscellaneous: Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels (only because I couldn’t find my Moody Palette Glassy Dots!!)

Measurements:

Petal Pink CS: 9” x 4¼” scored at 3½”; scrap for die cut
Basic White CS: 3¼” x 4” (inside); scrap to die cut flowers
Old Olive CS: scrap for leaves
Lovely Blossoms DSP #1: 3¼” x 4”
Lovely Blossoms DSP #2: 1¾” x 4

Instructions: (Download the project sheet.)

Score the Petal Pink CS at 3½” to form the shorter front of the cardbase.

Adhere the Lovely Blossoms DSP #1 (Navy blue print) to the left side of the cardfront. Adhere the Lovely Blossoms DSP #2 (Old Olive print) to the right side.

Using Night of Navy ink, stamp the flowers on the Basic White CS. Die cut the flowers, leaves and oval for the sentiment.

Add some Petal Pink to the flowers using the Stampin’ Blend marker. Adhere the smaller flowers to the upper and lower edge first. Adhere the large flower with a dimensional. *Be careful to not glue your card shut!!* Don't laugh- it has happened!

Adhere the leaves. Then stamp your sentiment on the Petal Pink CS die cut and adhere with dimensionals.

Stamp the flower on the corner of the Basic White CS inside piece, then adhere along the left of the inside.

Since my Moody Palette Glossy Dots are missing…… I had to use my Old Olive Blend marker to color my pearls!!

Welcome back to another Manic Monday easy card!!

Okay, this one is slightly over 5 minutes to make but totally worth it. The Nature's Symphony has become on of my all time favorite stampsets and dies. It really does the work for you. All you have to do is add adhesive... and a little grunge!! Let's get started! There is a video below for easy instructions.

Surprise Inside!!

It's been a long time since I used this technique and what better time of year than "love season"?

I love how the small strips of patterned paper on the white background give the illusion that this is harder than what it really is. Then using the die cut of the heart on the inside (I call it the negative cut technique) is the cherry on top!

I used this card for my latest Sip and Stamp. In order to make it even easier, I fussy cut the drinks in advance and allowed the participants to pick the cocktails for their card. I also used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment. This made it easier for those with arthritic or shaky hands (including mine!).

Strip Technique ~Another 5 Minute Card!

Welcome back to another Manic Monday!

Let's explore a technique today instead of a specific product.

We all have leftover paper that we just can't bring ourselves to throw away. I have pieces EVERYWHERE! And I am way too frugal to toss it. So, this is a simple technique to use up some of the stockpile!

These items are what was used on this card. **Please use what you have. I know, it is a shocker that someone gives you a video tutorial for free and tells you that you don't need to buy anything. I don't plan to get rich selling Stampin' Up!®, I just want to share what I love!!

Sweetly Scripted stamp set

Petal Pink ribbon

Elegant Faceted Gems

Inks:

Night of Navy

Paper/Dimensions:

Night of Navy cardstock: 5½" x 8½", scored at 4¼"

Petal Pink cardstock: 4¾" x 3½"

Basic White: 4¾" x ¾"

Assorted patterned paper: Country Lace, Countryside Inn, Adventurous Sky, Country Woods

Cut strips of patterned paper to be ½" wide and 1½" to 1¾" long. Cut one piece to be 1" or wider and 2" long.

Here is the quick video showing the trick to putting this together super fast. *Please note this is probably the worst video I have ever done. I don't know what happened but I am human and things don't always go perfectly. Thanks for bearing with me and watching anyway!

I love an easy "fun fold" card that adds a little pizzazz without a lot of work! Does that make me lazy?? Maybe... but I have learned to work smarter, not harder. You are going to love the way this works with any stampset and dies you have lying around. But those Darling Dinos are adorable!

Now let's talk about those Textured Notes Dies. The edging around each rectangle is absolutely beautiful! You will want to use these dies over and over! Take a look!

Have you ever had a seagull steal your fries??? I did when we were visiting Atlantis several years ago and we laugh about it to this day. Why?? Because I LOVE fries. LOVE them. But I am a fry snob.... I like fresh cut fries. Don't get me wrong, I will eat any fries that are on my plate. But I search out the fresh cut fries.

This was the perfect Valentine's Day card (or any day card) for my husband because he knows that he is just slightly above the fries on the "love chain".

Easy Easel Calendars with Sticky Notes

Wow!!! I can't believe that 2025 is right around the corner. They say that life is like a roll of toilet paper.... the closer you are to the end, the faster it goes. I am hoping I am nowhere near the end (I still have too many stamping projects to do) but it sure is going fast!

Let me introduce you to the easiest desktop calendar/sticky note easel this side of the Mississippi! I even taught this in one of my Sip and Stamps here in central PA. They loved it.
