Basket Treat Holders ~ 5 minute project

 "It's just another Manic Monday!"

These baskets have been around for a while in one shape or another but then I realized that baskets are not just for Easter.  Be sure to check out the bottom of this post for some other ideas!!

Today's video shows you how to make a quick and easy basket using a 6"x 6" sheet of DSP! And what stamper doesn't have at least 3,000 sheets of DSP in this size laying around???  

Items Used: 

• Pick any 6" x 6" DSP or cardstock. 
• Pick coordinating DSP or cardstock and cut to ½" x 6".

Here is the template showing the cut and score lines for future reference.  

Dotted Lines= Fold
Solid Lines= Cut

Once your basket is made, decorate it any way you want!   Here are some ideas.

Welcome back to another Manic Monday! 

I was working on my make-n-takes for an upcoming retreat and found that I had a lot of cardstock strips left on my cutting table. Being a scrapbooker at heart, it is not in my nature to throw paper away.... I'll hoard it until the cows come home!!!  But today, we are going to use it! 

We are also using the Hope and Prayer stampset and some of the By the Bay DSP from Stampin' Up!®.

Here are the items used and the dimensions. Take a minute to cut your paper then join me on the video and I will walk you through it.  You won't believe how easy and versatile this design is!

Stampset: Hope and Prayer

DSP: By the Bay (two pieces cut to 1" x 5")

          

Cardstock:  Pool Party  (5½" x 8½", scored at 4¼"), 

                     Pool Party-  3 strips measuring ¾" x 8½" (can't be shorter than 6") 
                     Night of Navy (5" x 3¾", 2½" x 2½"  )

                     Basic White (4¾" x 3½", 2¼" x 2¼")

Ink:  Bermuda Bay Ink Pad
