Hand-Drawn Dots ~ Manic Monday 5 minute card

 "It's just another Manic Monday!"

And here we are, once again. It is hard to believe that there are only 52 Mondays in the year..... it seems like they are always here!

Today, we are using a background stamp to make some quick and easy cards!  When using these large stamps, you will either need a "C" block or a Stamparatus.

Here are the items used:

Cardstock:  Basic White (8½" x 5½")
Thick Basic White for card base 8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼"

Ink:  Crushed Curry
         Starry Sky

Stampsets:  Hand-Drawn Dots
                    Good Feelings

Here is the video showing how quick and easy this is!

Remember that second card?  This is how I fixed it.

I would love to see what you come up with.   Join my group "Stamping with Card Zen By Jen" on facebook and show me your creations!

Floating Element ~ Manic Monday 5 minute card

 "It's just another Manic Monday!"

The floating element technique is so easy to do! Add a little bit of "wow" to your cards!

Let's gather the supplies.

  • Crumb Cake Cardstock- 5½" x 8½", scored at 4¼"
  • On the Bay DSP - 4" x 5¼"
  • Window Sheet- cut to 3½" x 3½" (just larger than the die or punch you are using)
  • Strips of DSP and/or cardstock: Like an Animal, Crumb Cake and Basic Black
  • Layering Circle Dies (I like to use the two largest circles)
  • Tape Runner
  • Dimensionals or Foam Adhesive Strips

Did you ever make a video so bad that you can't stop laughing at yourself??  Well, here is mine!  Please don't judge, just laugh along and remember, it is a Monday!

Here are a few more cards using the same technique.
