Magnetic Bookmarks - Stampin' Up!® style!

I can't believe that my last post was in October!!! It has been a very busy last quarter of the year with craft fairs, Christmas special orders and, well, life!!!  I shared how to make magnetic bookmarks in my in-person Sip and Stamp in October and they loved them!  So I made some other designs and added them to my craft fair stash. They make a great gift for kids, adults, teachers, book clubs, church groups - really, anyone who can read. But, the best part is that my cousin decided to raise money for a local animal rescue this Christmas, Animals Matter of Clearfield County.  As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I get to preorder from the upcoming catalog (Jan-April 2024) and had already ordered the Doggone Friendly stamp (photo below).  To help raise funds, I sold the dog bookmarks for $3 each (42 of them so far) and gave all the money to the organization.  Why am I telling you this??  Because you can do this for your local organizations too! Let me show you how!

stampset!

Some suggestions:
~Don't put anything bulky (rhinestones, etc) on the part that will be in the book.
~Watch the video for the easiest way to apply the magnets!
~Adhere the DSP to the front of the bookmark BEFORE you apply the magnet to the inside! (Trust         me, much easier!!)
    ~Adhere the circle LAST!

Here is the video showing how all this comes together:

Here are some other bookmarks made using the same process.

The All About Autumn paper is sold out, but many
didn't know what to do with the "library" images.  If you don't have
any, reach out on the Facebook groups for some leftover pieces!
The book stamp is from Make It Happen and the sentiment
is from Best Chapter.

The paper is from Bee Mine DSP and the stampset
is Bee My Valentine. These items are available starting
1/4/2024 in the Jan-April 2024 catalog.

I used the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder
for the bricks and sponged it with Early Espresso. I used the Suit and Tie Dies
fort he middle one. The key paper came from a retired DSP (can't remember
the name).  Just look through your paper stash and see what works!

Here are some others I made and sold at my craft fairs.
