Nature's Symphony ~ easy masculine card

 Welcome back to another Manic Monday easy card!!




Okay, this one is slightly over 5 minutes to make but totally worth it.  The Nature's Symphony has become on of my all time favorite stampsets and dies. It really does the work for you.  All you have to do is add adhesive... and a little grunge!!   Let's get started! There is a video below for easy instructions.

 Items Used (all items are from Stampin' Up!®):

    Nature's Symphony Stampset and Dies 
    Deckled Rectangle Dies
    Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder
    Faux Bronze Pentagons
   
 Inks:

    Pecan Pie ipadnk
    Secret Sea inkpad
    Mossy Meadow refill or inkpad
    
Paper/Dimensions:

    Pecan Pie cardstock: 5½" x 8½", scored at 4¼"
    Secret Sea cardstock: 5" x 3¾" 
    Basic White: 4¾" x 3½" (x2) (one for die cut and one for inside); strip for sentiment
    Old Olive cardstock: scrap for leaves

Here are a couple of other options to switch this card up.

Add a Secret Sea ribbon and switch the embossing folder (used the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder):

Hearts of Elegance ~ Negative Cut Technique

Surprise Inside!!

It's been a long time since I used this technique and what better time of year than "love season"? 

I love how the small strips of patterned paper on the white background give the illusion that this is harder than what it really is.  Then using the die cut of the heart on the inside (I call it the negative cut technique) is the cherry on top!  

It really is super easy.  Check out my quick video to show how it all comes together.  Then the products used and dimensions are listed below.

Inks:

    Real Red
    
Paper/Dimensions:

    Petal Pink cardstock: 5½" x 8½", scored at 4¼"
    Real Red cardstock: 3¾" x 3¾" 
    Basic White: 3½" x 3½", 4¾" x 3½" (inside); scrap for small heart
    Bee Mine DSP #1: ¾" x 3½" (x3)
    Bee Mine DSP #2: ¼" x 3½" (x2)
